The Eaton Fire — a personal impact

For my family, resilience is not an abstract idea.

The Eaton Fire changed my family's life and reinforced, in the most personal way possible, how essential resilient infrastructure, emergency preparedness, and dependable water service are to Altadena.

Our family experienced the destruction directly. In the aftermath, we returned to the neighborhood, worked through the debris and recovery process, and saw firsthand what families throughout Altadena were facing. That experience deepened my commitment to rebuilding stronger and making sure our local water systems are prepared for the emergencies ahead.
